About the Role

We are seeking a calm, kind-hearted and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a male participant living with autism.

The participant prefers a female support worker, ideally someone middle-aged, who is patient, gentle in their approach, and comfortable assisting with community access and routine activities.

Support a male participant with autism spectrum disorder

Build trust and provide consistent, gentle guidance

Assist with:

Community access (e.g. walks, outings, appointments, local activities)

Light personal care and support with daily routines as needed

Encourage social engagement while respecting the participant’s preferences and boundaries

What We’re Looking For

Female candidates only, ideally middle-aged, as per participant preference

Native English speakers preferred, as per participant's preference

Calm, kind, and emotionally attuned

Comfortable supporting individuals with autism or experience in neurodiverse care

Must have:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR

Valid driver's license (preferred for community access)
