Beyond refrigeration and HVAC services, our scope covers control system commissioning and plant optimisation. As a Refrigeration & HVAC Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the electrical aspects of commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems, including commissioning, maintenance, and repairs. You’ll work closely with our technicians and engineers to ensure systems are installed and operating to the highest standards, with opportunities to expand your skills in control systems and plant optimisation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Electrical commissioning of commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Perform scheduled maintenance and remedial repairs on plant systems.

Collaborate on control system commissioning and optimisation projects.

Travel to regional sites as required for installations and service work.

Participate in after-hours and overtime work when needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and service records.

Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold ATS Group’s service standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration or HVAC.

Restricted Electrical Licence (QLD) – essential.

QBCC Occupational Licence – essential.

White Card (Construction Induction) – required.

Manual Driver’s Licence – required.

Experience with supermarket refrigeration and chillers – highly regarded.

Control system commissioning experience – desirable.

Familiarity with PLC and parametric control systems – advantageous.
