We're Hiring For
Community Development Officer – Youth
Community Development Officer – Grants and Funding
If you're a creative thinker, strong communicator, and collaborative problem solver who genuinely cares about people and place – we want to hear from you.
In the Youth focused role, You Will:
- Design and deliver programs, projects, and events that support local young people, aligned with the City's Youth Action Plan
-Activate the Kingsbury Park Youth Precinct and other City spaces with vibrant, inclusive initiatives
- Work closely with youth services, schools, and community stakeholders to create real opportunities for skills, connection, and empowerment
- Promote City-led and community-led youth programs and events, building a strong sense of belonging and engagement
In the Grants & Funding role, You Will:
- Coordinate the City's grant funding streams – from application to final acquittal – and help community groups navigate the process with confidence
- Build community capacity by delivering training, resources, and support to enable sustainable success
- Develop clear communication strategies to maximise awareness of funding opportunities across the region
- Maintain robust systems and processes for administration, reporting, and accountability
In All Roles, You Will:
- Be a trusted liaison between the City and community – supporting partnerships, activating spaces, and bringing people together
- Support and promote community-led initiatives aligned with the City's Strategic Community Plan
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through consistent communication, collaboration, and care
- Help drive projects, secure funding, and identify opportunities that contribute to a thriving Kalgoorlie-Boulder
