Position: Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with complex psychosocial needs.

Support participants in their daily living activities, building their independence and resilience.

Work collaboratively with other professionals and family members to ensure consistent and effective support.

Maintain a safe and respectful environment, promoting positive relationships.

You must have, at a minimum:

Must hold a relevant CertIII, Cert IV, Diploma or Tertiary qualification (or its equivalent) / including demonstrated knowledge or experience in working with NDIS participants with complex needs.

Must hold WWVP cards and NDIS Worker Endorsement Registration or willingness to obtain.

Access to a reliable and roadworthy car for work purposes, comprehensive insurance and a valid Full Tasmanian Driving License

Current accreditation in Medication Administration, First Aid, Fire Safety, Manual Handling, or the capacity to gain competency within the first 3 months of employment.

Must maintain registrations and qualifications at all times.

Completed NDIS Worker Orientation.

National Police Check

Access to a smartphone or another device with internet access.

Must agree and sign a confidentiality form to protect organisational and participants’ information at all times.
