About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our Brookfield team. Our purpose-built centre caters for up to 102 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and features large, light-filled rooms, state-of-the-art facilities, and outstanding resources to support creativity and exploration.

As an Educator, you will play a key role in designing stimulating, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments that support each child’s curiosity, independence, and love for learning. You’ll contribute to a team that celebrates children’s individual interests and fosters their social, emotional, and cognitive development through intentional teaching and child-led play.

We are especially looking for someone with a deep understanding of Child Safe Standards, mandatory reporting obligations, and the importance of emotionally responsive practice.

You are a confident and reflective educator who brings experience, creativity, and professionalism to your work. You understand that environments are a powerful tool in children’s learning, and you’re passionate about creating spaces that inspire discovery, promote autonomy, and support children's wellbeing.

You will have:

Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards and mandatory reporting responsibilities

In-depth understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, VEYLF, and National Quality Standards

Proven ability to plan and implement engaging learning environments tailored to children’s interests and developmental stages

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative mindset

A genuine desire to build relationships with children, families, and your team

Your Responsibilities will include:

Designing and maintaining purposeful learning environments that spark creativity and exploration

Observing and supporting children’s development and interests through planned and spontaneous learning experiences

Promoting a safe, secure, and inclusive space where every child feels seen, heard, and valued

Building respectful, collaborative relationships with families and contributing to a welcoming community atmosphere

Maintaining clear documentation, observations, and planning in line with centre and regulatory requirements

Upholding and modelling child safety, professionalism, and ethical practice at all times

What We’re Looking For:

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA recognised)

Experience in long day care or kindergarten, with demonstrated ability to create vibrant, high-quality programs

Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications

A strong understanding of early childhood development, respectful relationships, and positive behaviour guidance
