About the role

Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to be responsible for the delivery of high quality and contemporary Speech Pathology services to adult patients attending The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) rehabilitation services and Norfolk Island Health Services (in person and via telehealth).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Independently deliver telehealth models of care to meet the needs of our clients, families and communities, ensuring best practice care and culturally responsive practice.
• Build and maintain relationships with families, patients, local services via email, telephone and telehealth practices due to the large distances between sites.
• Knowledge and skill based in telehealth practice should be reviewed, maintained and updated to meet advancements in technology and telehealth practice services.
• Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trends and actively influence practice change.
