The Administration Officer provides strong administrative support and ensures smooth operations of the Faculty of Arts and Society.

About the Position
As the Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Faculty of Arts and Society and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of its day-to-day operations including supporting teaching and learning activities. The role is a key point of contact in the provision of administrative services and requires a high standard of professionalism be always maintained.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Completion of Certificate IV in Business or a related area and/or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training, or expertise in a related field.
  • Demonstrated high-level and professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be their first language.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.
  • Demonstrated high-level administrative skills including proven ability to deliver quality customer service, contribute effectively in a team environment, and ability to learn new software systems, policies, and processes in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a challenging environment utilising problem-solving skills, initiative, and discretion to achieve specific outcomes.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $73,502 - $84,914 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,997 - $99,349 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
