A successful and well-respected retail business in Adelaide's southern suburbs is seeking a driven Assistant Manager to support daily operations and lead a team known for its loyalty, energy, and strong customer relationships.

This is a Tuesday to Saturday roster with no late nights, offering a salary of up to $85K (experience dependent), plus bonus earning potential of up to $8K.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll support the Store Manager to run the day-to-day operation, lead the team from the shop floor, and ensure customers receive expert service every time. You'll bring strong retail sales experience and a willingness to get involved in every aspect of store life... from people to product to process.

What You Will Do

Help lead and support a team of 12 in a busy, customer-focused store

Drive individual and team performance through active floor leadership

Support rostering, stock handling, merchandising, and training

Be a strong right hand to the Store Manager and step up when needed

Build customer trust through product knowledge and service

What You Will Bring

Strong sales leadership experience is ideal. Hardware or trade retail is a bonus

A hands-on, can-do approach and a natural presence on the floor

Ability to connect with customers and lead a team with confidence

Comfortable working operationally, from stock to service

Driven, adaptable, and open to being mentored for growth
