About Us – Solar Surge Australia is Building Its Own Installation Team

Solar Surge Australia is a growing solar retailer in Queensland, providing high-quality residential solar installations. We are now launching our own installation division, Helios Forge Energy, to bring installations in-house.

We are looking for a Solar Installation Manager who will be:

Acting as the QTP for the company’s Electrical Contractor Licence

Leading and actively installing solar systems

Ensuring compliance, safety, and quality

This is a hands-on leadership role, we aren't looking for office managers - this role is doing the majority of the installations (with an offsider). As the team grows more it can transition into a General Manager role.

What You Need

Current QLD Electrical Contractor Licence (Not Required – Must Be willing to be the QTP & QBP for Licensing)

Meets QTP Requirements (All 3 Competency Units Completed)

Business Management Experience or QBP Qualification (Preferred)

Experience in Solar PV, Switchboards & Battery Installs

Willing to be Hands-On with Installations

Due to majority of our installations being either battery only or solar with battery both PV + Battery + design / install SAA is 100% required to be considered for this role.
