Volt Edge is seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor in the Electrical Training Field in particular with experience with Electrical Contracting, Solar Design and Install and Solar Battery to elevate the quality of our training programs.

Looking for Full Time positions (Part Time/Casual/Contract also available).

The Role

As a Trainer and Assessor at Volt Edge, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training and assessments to students specialising in Solar & Battery, QTP, and QBP. Your role and responsibilities will include:

Delivering innovative learning and assessment material provided to you.

Utilising our online Learning Management System (LMS), assessing submitted theory material, and providing feedback to ensure students gain the necessary knowledge prior to attending practical sessions.

Delivering hands-on, simulated work experience training, providing constructive feedback, and working with students to enhance their life skills and employability.

Volt Edge holds weekly training in the following areas:

Solar Design & Installation

Solar Battery

Electrical Contracting, QTP, QBP, REC

LV Testing to AS3017

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to at least Two (2) teach Solar & Battery, QTP and QBP.

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122) or a higher qualification in Adult & Vocational Education.

Strong industry experience in Installing and Designing Solar and Electrical Contracting.

Experience in delivering two or more courses offered by Volt Edge, with potential to expand your knowledge within the electrical industry.

An engaging training persona with excellent communication skills.

Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in using a wide range of learning resources and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for assessing and tracking student progress.

Advanced English communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to help students improve their practical skills and employability.

Willingness to travel state-wide and interstate (although travel is not frequent).
