Working with an ASX listed organisation in Melbourne's CBD we are looking for a Resource Planner to join the team. This role will suit someone who is skilled in workforce management or resource planning across both blue and white collar environments and has previously had a background in recruitment, talent or HR prior to resource planning and understands the contingent workforce management piece.

We require someone with strong advanced Excel skills, Power BI would be a bonus! This role is both operational and strategic and would require someone who has a depth of experience and is able to hit the ground running.

The role:

• Support business units with contract workforce forecasting including mobilisation and demobilisation
  
• Long term planning for business current capability and critical skills in need across blue and white collar environments
  
• High levels of Excel use for both analysis and reporting
  
• Partnering with stakeholders for project pipeline, working within cost for resourcing strategies
  
• Supporting an agile workforce through tracking and monitoring resource utilisation to maximise efficiency in the workplace
  

The successful candidate:

• Has previous experience in a Resource Planner / Workforce management role
  
• Greater background in Recruitment, Talent Aquisition or HR
  
• Advanced excel skills are a must
  
• Power BI skills are desirable
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills
  
• Ability to deal with conflict and have strong influencing skills
  

The finer details:

• This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, with very high likelihood of either a further 12 months or permanency
  
• Hybrid working model, 2 days per week from the CBD office
  
• Competitive salary, bonus applicable once the role is permanent
