Trainer & Assessor Required

Australian Well Control Centre (AWCC) is an established registered training organisation (RTO #41356) that delivers a range of key courses primarily to the Oil and Gas, General and Civil Construction industries. We are seeking new Trainer & Assessors to join our professional team across both our Brisbane and Toowoomba locations.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated safety trainer to deliver nationally recognised training at our modern Brisbane training facility. You’ll be responsible for facilitating hands-on, engaging training for students across a variety of safety courses, with the support of a nationally respected RTO.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is to deliver current industry training and assessments to students either onsite, at their workplace or at our training facility.

Skills and Experience

Hold a minimum of one of the qualifications listed below

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

or

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Advantageous to hold the following certification

PUAFER, PUASAR, MSMWHS, RII, or similar high-risk training units

Industry-specific qualifications or trade background

Great communication skills

Continue to learn and undertake professional development

Good presentation skills with the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds and industries.

Basic computer skills and experience

Current Australian driver’s licence

Strong background in WHS, emergency response, or high-risk industry training

Practical experience in the oil and gas industry (preferred but not essential)

A commitment to maintaining compliance, safety, and exceptional learner outcomes
