About the Role:

We're seeking a well-presented, enthusiastic team player to join our growing team as a Footwear Fitting Specialist. You’ll be at the front line of helping customers, many of whom have medical or special fitting needs to find the right footwear solutions.

We're especially looking for someone who:
✅ Has excellent phone skills and a clear, friendly speaking voice
✅ Speaks good English confidently and professionally
✅ Is well-presented with a neat, approachable appearance
✅ Is eager to learn and open to training to become a Pedorthist Retailer
✅ Works well with others and contributes to a positive team environment
✅ Wants a career path, not just a short-term role

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver warm, knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone

Professionally handle all phone enquiries – phone etiquette is a must

Accurately measure feet and assess fitting needs

Recommend suitable footwear based on comfort, style, and medical needs

Assist customers in trying on shoes and ensure correct fit

Educate customers on foot health and the benefits of proper footwear

Complete sales transactions and handle payments confidently

Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Collaborate with the team and support each other during peak periods

Participate in ongoing training to grow your skills and career

Requirements:

Clear spoken English and confident communication skills

Previous experience in retail or customer service is a bonus, but not essential

A genuine interest in health, comfort, and helping people

Willingness to learn and grow into a Pedorthist Retailer through provided training

Ability to lift boxes up to 12kg

Must be well-presented, reliable, and team-oriented

Basic computer skills preferred
