Chefs/Cooks wanted for Kalgoorlie Overland Motel & Miners Rest Motel

The Kalgoorlie Overland Motel & Miners Rest Motel are 2.5km from the main town of Kalgoorlie. Both venues cater for approximately 250 people per night consisting of regular in-house guests and the general public

Applicants must have

Trade Qualification or
3 years Previous Experience in Similar Role

Be able to work evenings and weekends on a rotating roster

The Kalgoorlie Overland Motel & Miners Rest Motel is looking for chefs/cooks who can:

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies

Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions

Clean up station and take care of leftover food

Stock inventory appropriately

Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Full Time

Salary : $76,515.00 pa + Superannuation and Overtime

This is a residential role, No FIFO

Advertising Period is for 4 weeks from 8th July to 8th August 2025
