You’ll be joining ShareStory. We’re a creative production company based in Fortitude Valley known for high-concept storytelling, sharp production, and crafty campaigns.

We’re an emerging force in producing strategic marketing projects for our partners here in Brisbane and we’re looking to solidify our process with an experienced department head.

About the Role:

As our Post Production Lead, you’ll shape the stories that define our client’s brands.

You’ll be invited into the process from the start, not just handed footage. Including creative planning to final delivery, your fingerprints will be all over the content. That includes branded campaigns, doc-style pieces, educational content, and punchy social reels. All tied together by ShareStory’s signature style: clean, clever, and character-driven.

You’ll work side-by-side with our Creative Director and production team from our Fortitude Valley studio (plus some WFH flexibility). You’ll also have access to a network of trusted collaborators, suppliers, and animators to help you go further with every project.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Collaborate in concept development. We like to think post shouldn’t just be an afterthought. You’ll help shape stories before the first scene is shot.

Own the post pipeline. Manage the process from rough cuts to refined delivery, guiding both internal and external resources for offline and online editing.

Work across diverse formats. Campaign films, branded content, education videos, motion graphics and the occasional experimental piece.

Be client-facing. You’ll help manage client feedback, present edits with confidence, and ensure everyone walks away with something great.

Contribute to our brand story. You’ll help shape how we present our work to the world through social media, case studies, and internal content.

Who We’re Looking For:

You’re looking for something more than your next editing job, but somewhere you can contribute and work with a team that gets it.

You’ve been an editor for a large portion of your career and now you’re looking to make more impact on the brief and lead your own team of in-house creatives and specialist sub-contractors.

We’re looking for someone who seeks the professionalism and structure of an established production company or agency, without the bureaucracy.

We won’t thrive together if you’re just a storyboard assembler. We’re really on the lookout for someone who will challenge the brief, find unique angles and guide the technical direction of the project to make ideas reality.

We value professionals with instincts, high standards, a love for the craft and niche film references that likely don’t land at social gatherings.

You’re confident in your skillset but even hungrier to keep growing and find new projects to execute emerging techniques that you’re curious about.

On a nuts and bolts level, you’re someone who:

Is fluent in Davinci Resolve and Adobe CC [obviously].

Has an eye for pacing, rhythm, and story structure across both short-form and long-form formats.

Has experience in commercial, agency or freelance post environments.

Is curious, coachable, and collaborative.

Is meticulous with file and data management.

Is experienced across colour, sound, or 3D.
