Opportunity
Our client is a federal government organisation with offices throughout Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking a Scaled Agile Release Train Engineer to join the team in their Richmond or Geelong office.
The Release Train Engineer, reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Director, is responsible for planning and managing delivery of ICT Projects. There are currently 8 delivery squads growing to 10 to be led by 3 RTE's.
Projects impact the Salesforce eco-system (Service, Sales and Health Clouds), Lightning, Communities and portals with Mulesoft integration layer.
Duties
- Define project scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Responsible for the development of the project schedule and maintenance of the plan.
- Responsible for delivery of all technical components of the project solution including system architecture, cyber and security, and other aspects of technology delivery for which their area is responsible.
- Work collaboratively with Business PM to identify risks, issues, escalations, and maintain log.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master, staying abreast of the status of the day-to-day delivery of the core technology solution being developed and tested.
- Publish Weekly Status Reports and share with Portfolio Delivery Director.
- Manage technology components of the Release Plan.
- Ensure technology compliances are in place (such as Cyber assessments, Penetration testing, Scheme actuary).
- Drive the completion of the Operational Readiness Checklist as the key input for release readiness.
- Establish a positive teaming environment.
- Create a project Confluence page for team collaboration.
- Be a champion for continuous improvement.
- Project closure report.
To apply for this opportunity
- Proven experience of greater than 8 to 10 years in establishing and managing the delivery of technical ICT system delivery projects, including digital cloud-based solutions - Salesforce CRM highly regarded
- Recent experience in, and strong knowledge of, contemporary project management and governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Project Management in Federal or State Government environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.
- Proven commitment to developing staff capability and proactively fostering a positive culture aligned to corporate values.
- Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
