We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for animals, excellent grooming skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to our canine clients, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling their coats according to breed standards or owner preferences. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pets in your care, and providing exceptional customer service to pet owners.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent pet groomer.
• Holds an animal first aid certification.
• Holds minimum B-level pet groomer certification or other equivalent internationally recognised certification.
• Excellent grooming skills, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling. Able to independently complete dog show grooming style for breeds dog.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality grooming results.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer complaints, manage phone reservations and use appointment management software.

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, brush, and groom dogs of various breeds and sizes.
• Trim and style dog coats according to breed standards or owner preferences.
• Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets during the grooming process.
• Monitor pet health and report any concerns to pet owners or management.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including answering client questions and addressing any concerns.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records of grooming services provided.
• Keep the grooming area clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Stay up-to-date on grooming techniques and trends through continued education and training.
