About the role

ESQ Data & Security Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Data Communication Technician to join our team in Northgate, QLD. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and upgrading our clients' data and security systems, ensuring they remain fully operational and secure.

What you'll be doing

Installing, testing and maintaining data communication cabling and equipment for a range of commercial and industrial clients

Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing data and security systems

Upgrading and expanding clients' Copper and Fiber data networks and security infrastructure

Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert technical guidance

Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards

Maintaining detailed records and providing progress reports to the management team

What we're looking for

Qualified electrician with Data & Telecommunications abilities

Experience as a projects Electrical Data Communication Technician

Thorough understanding of data communication systems, including copper and fiber cabling, networking equipment and security devices

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to safety and quality standards

Mandatory Requirements

ACMA Licence

A current electrical licence

Full drivers licence

QLD construction white card

CPR/LVR certificate

National police check

Australian cabler's registration
