We’re growing again and looking for a passionate, experienced Conveyancer to grow with us.

At The Law Collective, we’re a boutique law firm based in Ballarat, specialising in property law, conveyancing, and wills and estates. Founded by Renee Debono in 2023, we may be the ‘new kids’ on the block, but we’ve already built a strong reputation for clarity, integrity, and exceptional service. We deliver a progressive, people-focused alternative to traditional legal practice—combining legal expertise with practical insight to guide our clients through a wide range of property and estate matters.

📝 About the role.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Conveyancer to manage residential and commercial property matters from start to finish. You’ll be part of a supportive and skilled team delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities include:

Managing conveyancing files end-to-end

Preparing contracts, vendor statements, and related documents

Liaising with clients, agents, banks and other stakeholders

Handling PEXA settlements

Meeting deadlines and maintaining compliance standards

This is a full-time, onsite role in our newly renovated, light-filled Ballarat CBD office.

You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and independently. You take ownership of your work, communicate proactively, and thrive in a team that values precision and professionalism. We’re looking for someone who:

Delivers accurate, thorough work with strong attention to detail

Communicates clearly and professionally

Is confident managing files autonomously

Maintains client confidentiality and exercises sound judgment at all times

Takes pride in delivering excellent client service—warm, responsive, and solutions-focused

Is reliable, accountable, and open to feedback and continuous improvement

Has experience using systems such as LEAP, PEXA and Microsoft Office

Has at least 3 years of conveyancing experience

Please note, all candidates must have full Australian working rights and live within 100km of Ballarat.
