About the role

TBG Qld' is seeking experienced and new to industry Underground Mining professionals to join their team in Rockhampton, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals with a passion for mining and a proven track record in the industry. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the company's operations and contributing to its continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Performing breakdown maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment and surface infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and safety

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on underground mining equipment and surface infrastructure

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Collaborating with the wider mining team to achieve production targets and support the overall mining operations

Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within the mining operations

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in opencut mining operations, preferably within the Mining, Resources & Energy industry

Proficiency in maintaining a range of mining equipment, including continuous miners, longwalls, loaders, drift runners, conveyor belts, and wash plants

Strong understanding of mining safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges that may arise during operations

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the mining operations
