VALE Partners has been engaged by a fast growing Australian SaaS scale up to help find a pivotal new member of ther data team.

This high-impact role focuses on designing, developing, and evolving data visualisations for client-facing platforms, blending data storytelling, business analysis, product thinking, and UX design.

Role Overview

• Act as the subject matter expert for all visualisation components within the client portal and contribute to roadmap planning.
• Design and develop high-impact dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Server, ensuring consistentecy, clarity and accuracy.
• Own the end-to-end design and user experience of all dashboards and reports, defining and maintaining a consistent design language.
• Partner with internal and customer teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data visualisation solutions.

What You'll Ideally Have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing data visualisations using Tableau Desktop and Server.
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, product ownership, or UX-led roles, ideally in a SaaS or technology-focussed business.
• Proficiency with SQL and working with APIs and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of data visualisation best practices, design consistency and user-centric thinking.
