About the Role We are currently looking for reliable Gantry Crane Operators to join a fast-paced steel and reinforcement bar manufacturing team in St Marys.

This is a full-time, ongoing role with immediate start. You'll work with a close-knit crew operating overhead cranes and assisting with the processing of heavy steel materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead/gantry cranes to load and move mesh and steel
• Assist with machinery operation such as benders, shearers, and manual bench
• Manual handling of materials (up to 20kg)
• Ensure production areas are kept safe and clean
• Work collaboratively to maintain flow of operations
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Requirements

• Gantry crane experience
• Forklift licence
• Overhead crane operation experience
• Previous work in a steel or heavy manufacturing environment
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
• Team player with good communication skills
• NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Full Australian working rights
