About the role

What you'll be doing

Assessing, planning, and implementing individualised care plans for elderly clients

Administering medications and providing nursing interventions as required

Monitoring client health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care

Providing emotional support and promoting the independence and dignity of our clients

Maintaining accurate and timely client documentation

Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and DeeKay Healthcare Services' policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and current AHPRA registration

Minimum of 2 years' experience in community nursing or aged care

Strong clinical skills, including medication management and wound care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build trust with clients

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Proficient in client documentation and technology used in healthcare settings

Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
