ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security & Cloud Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client within a government or highly regulated environments, contributing to a new program kicking off in the new financial year.

This isn't just about identifying vulnerabilities; we're looking for someone who can assess and analyse security posture, then translate those insights into practical, implementable security plans and robust solutions. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Review and manage the organisation's identity and access management security
• Assist the Cyber Security Manager in implementing the organisation's Security Assurance programs and initiatives.
• Analysing data and complex cybersecurity issues.
• Engaging with key stakeholders to understand requirements and gather insights.
• Developing targeted solutions and strategic options.
• Delivering specified project outcomes efficiently and effectively.

• Deep cloud security experience, you will need to be proficient in assessing risks across a very wide range of cloud platforms. AZ- 500 certification is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP).
  
• Proven experience in a similar role with demonstrated application of best practice information security frameworks, development, application, and alignment to risk management frameworks.
  
• In-depth understanding of information security best practices, current and emerging industry trends, and cloud service platform security.
