Litigation First Year Solicitor / Graduate Entry Full-time Position in a boutique legal practice in Bacchus Marsh specializing in the area of Family Law and Civil Litigation

Ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

Have a passion in the area of law, want a hands-on approach in client/file management and aspire to do your own court appearances online and in person, having first-hand satisfaction of obtaining results needed and wanted by clients;

Must be admitted in the Supreme Court of Victoria, have a current Practicing Certificate, and will be required to also be admitted in High Court of Australia for Federal Courts Court appearances.

Must have great communication skills both verbal and written, courage and determination to succeed, attention to detail, ability to follow established office administration / procedures and work well as an individual and in small team;

Must have experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook - emails, calendar, tasks, and Excel) and able to learn to use Leap Legal Software and Ricoh Printer;

Preference will be given to candidate with at least 6 months legal work experience

In-house Supervision and Training from our Principal Lawyer with 18 yrs + litigation experience to develop your Solicitor Skills and Court Advocacy will be provided;

Remuneration is as per current Legal Services Award for full-time position from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, which starts with minimum rate wage, plus super and payment for any overtime which promotes healthy work and life balance. CPD and Practicing Certificate fees will be paid for pro-rata once employed.
