Job Title: Revit Technician / BIM Manager Assistant

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years (Architecture focused)

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revit Technician / BIM Manager Assistant with a strong background in documentation and a passion for Building Information Modelling (BIM). This unique dual role will be split evenly between drafting responsibilities and supporting our BIM Manager with the implementation, maintenance, and evolution of our BIM standards and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Revit Technician (50%)

Produce high-quality documentation across all project phases (concept to construction)

Coordinate and prepare detailed drawings in accordance with Australian standards and codes

Collaborate with architects and consultants to ensure design intent is carried through in documentation

Manage and update project models efficiently using Revit

BIM Support (50%)

Assist the BIM Manager in implementing and maintaining architectural BIM standards and workflows

Help manage Revit templates, shared parameters, and family libraries

Participate in model audits, clash detection, and quality assurance processes

Provide internal support and guidance to architectural staff on BIM best practices

About You:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural drafting, ideally within an Australian context

Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with BIM 360 and related tools

Solid understanding of BIM workflows, standards, and documentation processes

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across disciplines

Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn and share knowledge
