About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Consultant to manage and deliver consulting projects and industry programs to support business transformation and supply chain optimisation across diverse industries through the implementation of GS1 Standards and Services.
This hand's on role will see you leveraging your consulting expertise and you will work directly with clients to address their business challenges and deliver tailored, practical solutions to meet their specific needs. Collaboration is at the heart of our work, and you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high quality, impactful results.
You will also play a key role in expanding the client base and contributing to business growth through the development of advisory engagement proposals and new service offerings that support client initiatives and emerging needs.
You will report to a Melbourne based manager, with access to a hybrid work model from our office in Botany, NSW. Fully remote arrangements may be considered for suitably qualified candidates.
What you will bring:
Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in consulting or advisory roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering consulting engagements and managing projects from inception through to completion. We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in e-commerce and/or supply chain management, and a proven ability to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver measurable results in these sectors.

Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
Excellent organisation skills, an ability to work autonomously, set priorities and work to deadlines.
Strong presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, with a proven ability to help clients navigate complex challenges.
Sound understanding of project management and change management principles, ideally supported by formal qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
