Our Roadside Assistance team is dedicated to helping our members in a time of need which requires naturally empathetic individuals who want to go the extra mile ensuring our members are cared for every step of the way with every unique and individual case which we receive!
The contact centre is open 7 days a week and the opening hours are - Monday - Friday between 7.00am - 10.30pm & Saturday - Sunday 8.30am - 5.00pm.
This is a full-time opportunity working 37.5 hours per week, commencing on 4th & 18th August 2025
Roadside assistance covers our members who encounter any motor related issues from lock-outs, tyre troubles, running out of fuel, flat batteries to road traffic accidents. As a Customer Service Consultant in this team, you will be handling a high volume of inbound calls, ensuring you have all the relevant information to enable you to appoint the necessary resource to carry out the repairs. Whether you need to organise and send a mechanic, towing vehicle or to help locate our members anywhere across WA – you will be a trained expert in this area!
Once you have completed the 5-7 weeks of training, 9am-5pm, you will be:
Ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service by providing relevant, detailed, and accurate information to every member.
Using your initiative and the information tools available to provide the best outcome for our members.
Answering calls whilst adhering to standard response times.
Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation and follow up of cases.
Remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help our members when they need us the most.

For anyone who joins RAC WA Sales and Member Service business unit, you will be upskilled with training on various products and services in addition to the initial training you received. This is typically within circa 9-12 months of starting your journey.
