About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Workshop Leading hand to join our Fremantle-based workshop operations. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the fabrication of transportable buildings and other project support fabrication activities, and supporting the mobilisation of the fabrication items to construction sites across WA.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Mining or Civil Construction sector.

Job Role:

· Maintain workshop stock levels for projects use

· Mobilise materials to projects

· Get vehicles and plant repaired/ serviced.

· Manage work flow of workshop team to ensure works are completed

· Provide leadership and work flow management to workshop team including fabricators, carpenters and warehouse staff.

· Provide weekly progress reports and track workshop projects through to delivery.

Competencies, Skills and Experience required:

· Trade qualification in construction field.

· HR Driver's Licence.

· High Risk Work Licences (LF, RA, DG, CV).

· White Card.

· Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

· Working knowledge of HSEQ compliance.
