**Job Summary:**
The Mechanical Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the mechanical workshop, ensuring that all mechanical work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing workshop staff, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, and maintaining equipment and inventory.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop technicians and mechanics.
- Ensure all mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor workshop workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inspect and test mechanical equipment to diagnose faults and ensure proper functioning.
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; order materials as needed.
- Train and mentor workshop staff, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Prepare reports on workshop activities, maintenance schedules, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency and quality.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in mechanical workshop supervision or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in using workshop management software is a plus.
