About the Role

Reporting directly to the AutomationTest Engineer, this full-time position (5/2 roster) is responsible for executing end-to-end verification processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that technical specifications are met and systems are robust, scalable, and ready for deployment in mission-critical mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Verification Execution: Ensure system integrity by executing structured verification processes aligned with technical specifications.
• Test Development & Execution: Design and run both manual and automated tests (functional, reliability, scalability, performance, hardware-in-the-loop, experimental).
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and collaborate with development teams to resolve system defects, especially in areas like real-time processing and durability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align testing efforts with technical goals by working closely with product owners, architects, and developers.
• Risk Mitigation Support: Assist with identifying and addressing network reliability and data synchronization risks.
• Quality Tracking: Contribute to the measurement and tracking of system quality metrics (e.g., uptime, fault tolerance).
• Reporting: Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes and system performance to senior technical stakeholders.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support site maintenance teams with hands-on training and help develop technical training content for autonomy projects.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• A solid understanding of the product lifecycle, with a clear focus on verification and QA
• Experience with functional, automated, reliability, scalability, and performance testing in distributed systems
• Knowledge of autonomous mining systems and the technical complexities they involve
• Strong analytical skills for defect diagnosis and test result evaluation
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Exposure to automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Selenium is highly desirable
