About the Role

Cutting edge AI software company needing an Automation Specialist!

We’re seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Automation Specialist to design and create automations for our software utilised in the Engineering industry. The role is Client facing as you will be designing and building these automations for our client’s requirements. You will need to understand user flows, identify test cases, and design and create automations.

This role bridges automation development and quality assurance, ensuring the platform is robust, efficient, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy workflow automations using our platform's tools or external integration platforms

Validate and optimize existing automations to improve performance and reliability

Document test results, edge cases, and automation logic clearly

Identify, log, and track bugs using issue tracking systems

Required Skills & Experience

Must have strong experience in one of the following tools: n8n, Zapier, make.com, Power Automate

Must have experience using Postman and RestAPIs

Experience using OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or similar large language models via an API

Experience with creating automated workflows in a low-code/no-code environment

Experience with scripting Powershell

Familiarity with designing and configuring AI agents

Some knowledge of engineering design is preferable, e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to write clear test cases and documentation

Understanding of user behaviour and UI/UX testing
