Skaana Recruitment have partnered with a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer, known for their design excellence and pioneering innovation.

Due to an exciting phase of growth, we're seeking an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to take ownership of the financial function.

Your new role

Reporting to the company owners, you be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business and providing strategic insights to support decision making.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management reports, financial statements and variance reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with strong cash flow analysis
• Monitoring and analysis of inventory, production costs, labour, and overhead expenses
• Preparing monthly journals and GL reconciliations
• Assisting with audits and year-end reporting
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Intercompany financial management
• Processing payroll, superannuation, and leave calculations
• Liaising with external Accountants and auditors
• Assisting with financial insights for bids and tender submissions

What you will need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or similar field (or commensurate experience)
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or automotive
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Excel and PowerBI
• Experience with ERP or MRP platforms (MRPeasy ideal)
• High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working independently in a small team

CPA or CA qualified (or studying towards) would be highly advantageous, but not mandatory.
