The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Crane Operators to join our dynamic team. These are full-time roles based in the Upper Spencer Gulf, with excellent career growth opportunities and the chance to enjoy a regional lifestyle without compromising on job satisfaction or professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a variety of cranes and lifting equipment in line with qualifications, licensing, and site requirements.

Conduct daily equipment inspections, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate additional repairs as needed.

Complete checklists, safety documentation, and job-specific paperwork such as JSA forms.

Ensure safe and efficient lifting operations, maintaining visual and radio communication with ground crew at all times.

Adhere to Max Cranes’ safety procedures and client protocols.

Provide support to fellow operators and riggers, including training and occasional overtime as required.

Key Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience operating cranes across various settings.

Proven track record in crane operations and rigging.

Experience working in remote environments and during shutdowns.

Familiarity with load shifting equipment and safe lift planning.
