About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our dynamic team at caruso plumbing group pty ltd' in Kudla, SA 5115. As a full-time Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of our construction equipment and machinery.

What you'll be doing

Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment and machinery, including excavators, skid steers, in a safe and efficient manner

excavators range from 2.5t-38t

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards

Collaborate with the construction team to effectively coordinate the use of machinery and equipment on project sites

Identify and report any issues or malfunctions with equipment promptly to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime

Comply with all relevant safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment

Contribute to the overall success of construction projects by providing reliable and skilled operation of machinery

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator in the construction industry, preferably trenching for pipelaying

Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy construction equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with the construction crew

Commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of safety protocols and regulations

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing job site conditions

Valid driver's license and certification for operating heavy machinery (e.g., excavator, skidsteer etc.)
