Job description

An exciting position has become available at our fresh pasta factory situated in Sydney's inner west. The business has been operating for over 30 years with a busy shopfront and is well known in the area.

Hours: Friday and Saturday every second weekend 8.30am-4.00pm

Flexibility in being able to work additional days as required would be an advantage

Responsibilities include

Serving customers

Stocking products and rotation of stock

Presentation of products

Cleaning work surfaces, sweeping and mopping the shop floor at the end of each day

Completion of forms for temperatures and stock requirements

Food handling as required. This includes packing and printing labels for products

Some cooking of products for the shop required eg Arancini

Reconciling Cash Register at the end of each day

Key requirements for this position

General knowledge of POS and eftpos System

Good English speaking communication

Confident, friendly, outgoing, honest and trustworthy

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Be able to foster good relationship with customers

Be able to work independently and without supervision
