We are currently recruiting a Senior Contracts Administrator on behalf of a respected and growing construction business known for delivering landmark projects across Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CA ready to step up or a proven Senior CA looking for long-term growth and career development.
About the Role As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will take the lead on managing all aspects of contract administration across the full project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with QBCC requirements.
This is a pivotal role in the project team and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact on major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Lead contract negotiations ensuring alignment with project goals and risk profiles
• Manage procurement, scope changes, and contract compliance throughout delivery
• Monitor key contract milestones, variations, and claims processes
• Liaise with legal advisors where required and ensure QBCC licensing compliance
• Maintain strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to risk management
• Foster strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or Senior CA within construction
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and construction methodologies
• Ability to lead negotiations and manage contract performance on large-scale projects
• QBCC licensing knowledge and ability to license company under QBCC (essential)
• Highly organized with strong communication and reporting skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Law, Business, or related field
