Workfast is seeking Auto Electricians to work on a 7/7 Roster FIFO from Perth to Plutonic Belt Site, WA.

This is a great opportunity to work on a mix of underground and surface mining equipment, including Sandvik, CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, and Volvo gear. This is a temp-to-perm role with ongoing work on a balanced 7 on / 7 off roster.

• Days - $80.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate
• Nights - $85.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate
• ROSTER: 7 On, 7 Off
• Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

• Work with high-spec underground and surface mining equipment

What you need:

• AUSTRALIAN RECOGNISED Auto Electrician Trade Qualification
• Air Conditioning Handling Licence (ARCtick) Preferred
• Australian Driver's Licence
• Proven experience working on Sandvik underground mining equipment
• Experience maintaining and repairing CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Volvo surface gear
• High level of diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• National Police Clearance (Within 12 months)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• High regard for safety protocols and procedures

What you will be doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing auto electrical faults on underground and surface mining equipment
• Servicing and maintaining HV electrical systems and air conditioning units
• Performing electrical inspections and preventative maintenance
• Supporting the mobile maintenance team with fault finding and system upgrades
• Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with site procedures
• Completing service records, inspections, and compliance paperwork accurately
