- Multipurpose facility with 24-hour emergency care, 6 sub-acute beds, 20 residential beds, Community Nursing, palliative care, same day infusion clinic.

The Nurse Unit Manager:
- Provides leadership to clinical staff in Acute, Subacute, Emergency, Residential Aged Care, and Community services.
- Ensures the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education and nursing research functions within the facility.
- Leads and manages the coordination of overall patient care and is responsible for managing the allocated human, material and financial resources for service delivery within Campbell town Health and Community Services.
You will need:
- Demonstrated extensive clinical knowledge and experience relevant to acute, subacute, emergency, Residential Aged Care, and community care, with a strong commitment to guiding the service to achieve excellence in compliance with both NSQHS and Aged Care Quality Standards, in the rural community setting.
- Sound decision making skills – Individuals will demonstrate capability to make rational and sound decisions based on a consideration of the facts and alternatives available, make quick decisions when required and will commit to definite courses of actions.
- Leadership skills – Individuals will demonstrate capability to promote a shared vision and purpose, and positively influence others (internally and externally) to ensure optimal client outcomes and build a culture of success, commitment and active contribution by all staff within the practice area.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are able to join our team.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $122,365 to $129,060 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Regional Allowances:
- Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
