Australian Facilities Landscapes (AFL) is a leading provider of landscape and environmental services, delivering high-quality, practical solutions to both Government and commercial clients. With a dedicated team of over 180 staff across NSW, we specialise in land management, landscaping, grounds maintenance, fire mitigation, tree care, weed control, environmental management, and civil infrastructure maintenance.

We have been engaged to deliver an integrated weed management program as part of a strategic restoration project at a prominent site in Singleton. To support the delivery of this fixed-term project, we are seeking motivated Team Members to join us and make a tangible impact on this important environmental initiative.

All candidates will be assessed on the following selection criteria and skill attributes.

Essential Skills:

Must have the ability to travel to and work in the singleton area on a 5 day per week basis.

Be Self-motivated, proactive, use their own initiative.

Have the ability to work in a remote bushland environment all day every day.

Be willing to work under various weather conditions and terrain.

Have an Adequate level of physical fitness.

Have the Ability to walk long distances

Hold a Class C driver’s license.

Have a AQF3 chemical application qualifications or willingness to obtain.

Have a clear National Police Check.

Have the Ability to undertake Defence Security clearance process.

Have the Ability to undertake and pass a pre- employment medical.

Be an Australian Citizen .

Desirable Skills:

Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management or environmental related discipline, (or) willing to obtain.

Experience in or willingness to learn IT platforms such as ARCGIS, Survey 123 and associated software.

Current First Aid Certificate.

Demonstrated experience in high-volume herbicide spraying units and back-pack sprayers.
