Workfast are working on behalf of a well-known civil and road upgrade company who have recently been awarded a number of packages on road and bridge upgrades in New South Wales.

$45 - $50/hr + penalties

ASAP start

4–6 month project west of Wauchope

Our client is looking for Skilled 815F Compactor Operators who have a solid background working in civil road and infrastructure projects and hold valid RII tickets.

About you

Must have a valid and up-to-date RII to operate compactors

Experience operating 815F or similar compactors

Background in road upgrades and large-scale civil works

Confident operating in and around tight work zones

Ability to compact to specification and follow compaction testing requirements

Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role

Additional tickets (e.g., roller, moxy, bobcat) will be highly regarded

What you will be doing

Operating an 815F Compactor on a major road project

Compaction of various material layers including subgrade and base layers

Working alongside graders and watercarts

Performing pre-start checks and reporting maintenance issues

Assisting with other general civil duties as required

Following site safety and environmental procedures
