We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work with road works maintenance teams working from a depot at Dubbo. Note, this may involve some camp/travel at times, with accommodation provided and allowances paid.

Plant being operated will vary and includes loaders; rollers - multi-tyre, padfoot, smooth drum; excavators; pulvi operating; lime spreader operation. You must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required work tasks.

Grader operating experience would be a distinct advantage and will attract a higher pay level.

Applicants ideally will hold tickets/SoA/VOC for the plant items you have operating experience with.

You will be working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hours over a 9 day fortnight) for a period of 6 months with genuine potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.

An immediate start of work is available.

Successful Applicants will need;

Plant Operating - proven experience with bonus points for grader experience

current WHS White Card - essential

Driver licence

Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

good all round fitness for manual work tasks

previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
