About the role

ASTAR Recruitment is seeking experienced Factory Hands and Machine Operators to join their client's manufacturing facility in Wolli Creek, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with process work or manufacturing experience who are looking to build a long-term career in production operations. Must be available 5 days per week Monday - Friday 7am - 3.00 pm. Training will take place for the right candidates.

What you'll be doing

Performing process tasks as part of the production line

Adhering to strict quality control standards and safety protocols

Working on a production lines with machinery and tools

Stacking Pallets

Operating production line machinery (training will take place)

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Opportunity to progress into a skilled machine operation role with full training and career development support

What we're looking for

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Candidates that have an understanding of tools & mechanical machinery

Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes Not suitable for warehouse candidates

Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Must have Process Work experience within a manufacturing environment or similar

Seeking ongoing work Monday - Friday (occasional overtime)

Motivated, reliable and punctual

Fit for manual handling duties

High attention to detail

Available long term (over 6 months)
