About the role:
The Older Persons Mental Health Clinician position involves the provision of assessment, evidence-based treatment and case management services to adults over 65 years of age referred to the service with psychological disorders, psychiatric illnesses and severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). Consultation, liaison and capacity building work with other local services for the older person is an important part of the role. You will be based within our fabulous multidisciplinary community mental health team and at times also involves the provision of mental health crisis intervention services. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled or emerging clinician to play a crucial role within the Temora Community Mental Health team.

About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold a qualification as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist Social Worker or other relevant tertiary qualification within the NSW Health Professionals Award. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for Registered Nurses, Psychologists. Eligibility for membership of the peak body professional association for Social Workers or Occupational Therapists.
- Be able to be flexible and respond to differing workloads, and possess excellent time management skills.
- Newly graduated clinicians are encouraged to apply; support will be provided to aid your upskilling
