About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a Junior Project Manager to join our team at Ultimate Chippy, where you’ll help bring commercial fitout projects to life across Melbourne. Based full-time at our Carnegie office (VIC 3163), you'll support the delivery of high-quality commercial construction projects, managing everything from planning to execution and completion, while upholding our commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting in the development and delivery of detailed project plans to ensure deadlines and budgets are met

Coordinating and supporting project teams, including designers, trades, and subcontractors

Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and keeping all stakeholders informed

Ensuring compliance with building codes, OH&S regulations, and quality standards

Working closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure it’s delivered

Preparing project estimates and managing resources for on-time, on-budget completion

Carrying out administrative tasks that support the successful delivery of your projects

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator or Junior Project Manager, ideally within fitouts or commercial construction

Strong grasp of project management principles, tools, and methodologies

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Skilled in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and managing risk

Sound knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and safety practices

Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
