About the role

We’re looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual to join our Hoppers Crossing car rental team. In this hybrid role, you’ll not only manage front-of-house enquiries and bookings but also support our vehicle detailing and workshop operations to ensure every car meets our standards.

What you'll be doing

Welcoming customers, confirming reservations, and guiding them through the rental process

Processing rental agreements, explaining terms and insurance options, and handling payments

Preparing vehicles for handover by checking fuel levels, fluid levels, tyre pressures, lights, and general condition

Performing pre-rental and post-rental inspections, noting any existing damage and logging new issues

Washing, vacuuming, and wiping down vehicle interiors and exteriors to ensure a clean presentation

What we're looking for

Customer service experience, preferably within the car rental or automotive industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional service

Effective multitasking and time-management to balance front-desk duties with workshop support

Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability for fluid checks, tyre pressure, and light maintenance

Proficiency in vehicle detailing techniques, including washing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning

Computer literacy, with the ability to learn rental management booking systems

Effective multitasking and time-management to balance front-desk duties with workshop support
