Active Supply Chains is gearing up for its next growth spurt, and we’re looking for a hands-on leader to run our flagship NSW DC. If you get a buzz from safe, efficient operations, love coaching the next generation of leaders, and can “walk the talk” re WMS and KPIs without breaking a sweat, we’d like to meet you.

Why you’ll love this role

Shape the future. You’ll own the day-to-day warehousing, small-pick and cross-dock & local transport operations from the site for national automotive, B2C and 3PL clients.

Lead and mentor. Manage a core team of four leads plus ~30 operators, lifting capability through on-the-floor coaching.

Drive improvement. Partner with our Safety, IT, Finance and National Ops teams to embed best practice and drive continuous improvement (CI) to benefit our clients and us.

Build relationships. You’ll be the go-to for our clients and suppliers, working closely with State and Account Managers to keep service levels high.

A week in the life

Monitor pick, pack and despatch performance, adjusting labour plans to achieve service and cost targets.

Champion our safety program – audits, toolbox talks and corrective actions are second nature.

Develop and track SOPs, KPIs and weekly reports; spot trends and kick off CI projects.

Troubleshoot WMS issues with our IT team and roll-out system enhancements.

Keep a close eye on spend, working with Finance, the GM Ops & Executive Team to maximise ROI.

What you’ll bring

Solid track record running a high-volume DC (automotive or small parts picking experience is a bonus).

Confident with WMS and Microsoft Excel; routing/TMS exposure welcomed.

Proven leadership of teams 10+ and a collaborative, “lead by example” style.

Sharp eye for process, cost and safety, balanced with great customer savvy.

Logistics or related qualification preferred.
