Reno Blast is a family-owned and operated business, priding ourselves on delivering quality abrasive blasting and industrial painting services to commercial sectors across WA. We work within the mining, oil & gas, communications, construction and engineering sectors, safely and in a time critical manner without compromising our industry leading QA/QC standards. With a large workshop in Geraldton and a fully equipped mobile fleet of trucks we are able to deliver our services anywhere throughout Western Australia.

Qualifications & experience

• Trade Qualified Painter Blaster (Cert III in Surface Preparation and Coating Applications)
• Experience within the industrial blast and painting industry.
• Forklift ticket preferred. High Risk & Operating tickets desirable.
• Must have a strong work ethic, common sense and be safety orientated.
• Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Screenings

Tasks & responsibilities

• Operate abrasive blasting machinery and maintaining the equipment.
• Operate various equipment, such as blast pots and spray guns
• Safe operation of tools and equipment
• Understanding of painting, caulking and sealing and putting them into practice
• Knowledge of various painting methods and ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methods
• *If possessing a forklift ticket some duties may include moving jobs into paint sheds, loading and unloading client jobs and assisting in set up.
