About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will take charge of managing a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working autonomously and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll lead client engagements, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in delivering value-driven financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Managing client relationships, ensuring effective communication and high-quality service.
• Providing strategic business and tax advisory services to clients.
• Supervising and mentoring junior accountants, providing technical support and guidance.
• Handling tax compliance matters, including BAS, IAS, GST, FBT & Div 7a.
• Assisting in client audits and providing audit support as required.
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a public practice environment.
• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio and work to deadlines.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and desire to contribute to a positive office culture.
