The Role

• Manage and ensure adherence for all contractors signing in and out of the work site
• Complete basic site induction for all contractors prior to work commencing
• Manage all SWMS and ensure each vendor is following as per approved documentation
• Manage all permit to works and ensure each vendor is following as per approved documentation
• Ensure correct PPE is worn by all contractors
• Remain onsite for the duration of the days works. Must be present from first contractor arrival to last contractor departure
• Track and report any safety incidents on the work place
• Ensure all equipment used onsite has been tested and tagged/is in date
• Track all major deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are executed safety and as per SWMS
• Hold Toolbox meetings
• Complete regular spot checks throughout the day to ensure compliance
• Ensure work place is left in clean and tidy manner at the end of the day
• First point of call for both contractors and employees with any site related safety issues or concerns.
• Reports/updates to be sent through to employer contact daily.

The Ideal Person

- Experience in Construction Sector a must.
- Minimum experience 2 years Construction site experience
- Minimum CERT IV WHS
- Proactively manage WHS activities on site.
- Must be Australian resident
